Nick Kerchum
Principle
Nick has combined his passion for business, sustainability, and construction in co-founding Natural Balance Home Builders. Nick is highly motivated, an innovative problem solver, and dedicated to meeting the needs of his clients and his team. Nick brings over a decade of experience in the construction industry and plays a leading role in promoting better building practice in Canada.
Nick holds a Bachelors Degree in International Relations from UBC, a Business Degree from BCIT, extensive Project Management training through Priority Management, and a thirst for learning which keeps him current with all the latest systems and technologies.
Galen Evans
Principle
Galen started his career in construction in 1995. Through industry training, continuing studies and years of dedication he has developed his skills from apprentice to journeyman carpenter, owner/proprietor of his own general contracting company to project manager for Wakefield Homes, and now as a Principal of Natural Balance Home Builders.
With experience in both residential and ICI (Industrial, Commercial, Institutional) sectors, he brings standards of high end workmanship coupled with fast paced production to every project he works on.
Galen is in the process of becoming Gold Seal Certified (GSC) by the BCCA, he holds multiple certificates of completion from priority management (part of PMP certification) and is a certified "Built Green BC" builder through the Greater Vancouver Home Builders Association.
Galen's Focus is clear. With collected confidence, composed demeanour, and a strong resolve, he is a key asset to every project team.

These include Architecture, Planning, Public Policy, Engineering, Education, Community Economic Development, Design, Contracting and Construction.
E3 Ecogroup
E3 Ecogroup everyday strives to bring sustainable solutions to the construction industry. E3 offers a wide range of services for sustainable construction: Energuide for House evaluations (eco energy), Energy modeling, plan review, air leakage testing. Working with the design phase, energy consumption, solar mechanics to the final testing of air leakage, performance testing. As well we help with building science, indoor air quality and mechanical design applications.
